Winners' Exhibit: Arts of Kenmore People's Choice Award

I am delighted that The Living Room is hosting artists whose work won the People's Choice awards at the Arts of Kenmore annual art show this August. I'll have more photos as more of them come in, but let me start with an oblique shot of our new display featuring beautiful colored pencil artwork by Sheila Theodoratos, CPSA. Sheila is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and exhibits her work internationally. These pieces will be available at The Living Room until Friday, October 29.

The 3 to the left are Theodoratos'; the floral watercolor at the right is Sallie Patterson's:

Theodoratos' pieces include:
"Laugh Track", colored pencil and ink. $600
A self-portrait of increasing silliness that makes me laugh with pleasure to see it.

"Fire 'n Ice", colored pencil and watercolor, $375
This work pulls you in with its intricate realism and beauty.

"Self: In Progress", 100% colored pencil, $850 (the People's Choice Blue Ribbon winner)
A work at once fun and impressive, well worth a visit to see in person.

More of 2nd and 3rd place winners in coming blog.
