Learning about "basket twist" in wrought iron

Cynthia has consigned two elegant floor candelabra. Each stands 55" tall and holds 3 pillar candles.

The pattern of twisted iron in the upright arms seems Celtic to me, but I can't find that it is. However, I did stumble upon the correct term to describe this type of iron work: "basket twist" or "blacksmith's twist". There's even a website that describes how you can make it yourself, if you happen to have a forge handy:
