Craigslist stories...

I spend more time looking at craigslist than I used to, finding price comparisons, looking for deals. And I've run across a genre of ad, I guess, wherein the seller tells his story. Usually a sad story. A common theme is, "I like this item, but my wife/girl friend doesn't, so away it goes..."
Here's a poignant one:

"I have a really cute vanity that I refinished for my wife. Its solid walnut with 4 drawers and it was hard work getting all the old paint off it. I worked a week of hard labor to get paint out of all the many grooves in the front. I put new 18 dollar pulls on it and painted the drawers inside blue. The kick panels are painted black. Its really a pretty cute vanity...I think. My wife doesn't like it, so... its, going away. Comes with a big round 36 inch mirror that sets on the back, its not refinished, but could be painted black to match the kick panels. It is 42 long 18 deep 29 high. Anyway, if your interested see attached photos. Call Larry..."

This man's plaint is almost a country western song waiting for someone to add the bass and rhythm guitars. I think his wife should have given him a hug and kept it...somewhere.

What do you think?
