Let's see what Duncan Phyfe style looks like in a sofa...

Here's a fun piece that was consigned today. A stunning, vintage Duncan Phyfe-style sofa. It's in really good condition. The carved wood trim shows its age. Well, not literally, because I don't know if this is 1920's or 1940's, but I'll bet someone out there could tell me?

It's 81" long x 34" deep, and 34" high at the back, 26" high at the rolled arms.

The current owner purchased this davenport years ago as is, as vintage piece in Idaho. A clue to its mysterious origins? A label from Luques Upholstery in Alameda.

Here are some close-ups of the carved wood details:

Comes with 3 seat cushions and 1 cylindrical accent pillow in self-fabric.
(2 vintage, satin, down throw pillows available separately.)

Faded ink stain on arm and side of one seat cushion is normally covered by accent pillows; might benefit from deeper treatment?
