You know we have end tables, but I'll bet you haven't seen the lovely wooden folding table that just came in:

And how long since you laid eyes on the IKEA-style pine breakfast table with 4 chairs that have all been subsumed to the back of the shop?

I had rounded up more photos of our tables last night during some midnight-oil blogging, but an unfortunate battery incident brought an abrupt "good night" to my computer use; what wasn't saved, ain't here today. But here's a better solution, really: a collection of most of them in a flickr set:

Meanwhile, there's plenty of non-tabular items to be enjoyed, as well. We're several days into our second year here, and seem to be experiencing a "consignment bloom". Maybe it has something to do with the summer temperatures?

Amoeboid tables and other places to set your coffee cup

There are tables of the elements.
There are tables of contents.
There are dining tables and breakfast tables.
And there are amoeboid tables. AKA kidney-shaped. Or boomerang.
Mod, midcentury coffee tables.
Like this one:

Not too heavy, not too large.
The reflective, lucite surface is about 45" x 30", on a 16" tall sculptural support.
The more I view it, the more intriguing are the brass triangular and trapezoidal prisms that make its base.
