New consignments have arrived...some momentarily!

Eileen and Yvonne had a lot of fun this morning rearranging everything to make room for another big, new consignment. When the truck arrived in the mid-afternoon, the new pieces had barely come through the door when alert shoppers snatched up about half of them. We love it when that happens!

Here are some of the interesting and beautiful items that remain for your consideration...
(Please see our craigslist ad for current pricing and availability.)
  .
~ This beautiful, mahogany-toned, wooden china cabinet is relatively new, in excellent condition.
Graceful lines, subtle carving. 5'7" wide x 19" deep x 7' tall.
~ The vintage wool blanket is probably from the 1930s.
It's 62" x 78", thick and warm. The pink roses are in reverse pattern on each side.

.
~ We have a 1999 art calendar from Teatro Italiano featuring 12 prints of Commedia Dell Arte' characters in period costumes, suitable for framing.

. .
~ These 6 Chinese plates have beautiful floral patterns in an aqua palette.
The plates come in pairs, 8", 9" and 10". Discount available for multiples.
They make a stunning display on the vintage cherry-wood china hutch that came in last week.

This Lewisburg hutch can be see in this craigslist ad: http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/hsd/3022604082.html

Thanks for looking! We hope you'll visit again soon.
Come for tea and shop for a treasure.

Playful, faux marble dining table and china cabinet

playful, faux marble, dining set

Some people are not afraid to bring in consignments during a sale! In the rain! From such people we might expect the unexpected and we would not expect in vain.

A 46" x 78" dining table on 2 rotund palm tree pillars, constructed of wood and fancifully painted. And equipped with a removeable, crunched corner:

A 61" wide x 21" deep, wall-hung china cabinet in two pieces. You have to imagine the piece with the doors sitting atop to piece with the drawers, since I can't install it in our shop:

Is everybody blogging pictures of snow?

Snowy view from The Living Room Consignment & Tea, looking toward our espresso kiosk this afternoon. Kenmore Coffee & Tea (can you tell we're related?) is the small building to the right. Not much to look at yet, but the Kenmore outlet for Kuma Coffee's truly wonderful espresso!

Meanwhile, inside The Living Room, it's a cozier picture. We've moved things around as one hutch sold and another hutch was consigned:

If I can slide little Toyota down the hill safely tomorrow, I will see you at The Living Room!

Fitz & Floyd, lithophanes, mid century finds, and more

The beautiful old camelback sofa went on its way this afternoon, first to a wood refinisher (A&D Furniture Repair in Lake Stevens) before heading to Jeffries Upholstery for its glorious new cover. I'm looking forward to showing you before and after photos, after....

So, we're looking forward to a 1980's rose sofa and loveseat delivery on Friday, and I'll try to get a photo up soon after.

Meanwhile, here are some new photos for you to enjoy:
