Let's take a walk around our latest consignment, a handsome, hardwood, butcher block kitchen island ($595)UPDATE: SOLD:

Very solidly constructed of hardwood. 1.5" butcher block top and post legs are glued laminate hardwood.
46" wide x 36" tall x 20" deep, to 32.25" deep using the drop-leaf countertop extension.
2 drawers with gliding metal slides. Long drawer pulls make handy towel bars, as well.

Lots of easily accessed storage on the open slatted shelves.

Plenty of room for two to pull up counter stools at the island's drop-leaf.

Adjustable feet enable you to level your work surface.

The wood surface is easily maintained using periodic rubs with a good quality kitchen oil.
