Anniversary sale jumps the gun!

It's too hard to tell shoppers to come back on Saturday for our 10%-off-everything sale to celebrate our 1st anniversary on July 31.

More mid-century goodies!

Roger and Karen made 2 trips in with their trailer to help our newest consignor get her treasures here. So thankful it was not raining, although I'm sure they would have been prepared with tarps, raingear, flashlights, sandwiches...whatever was needed. Such capable, down-to-earth people! Very thankful to have their help.

Here are some views of a couple of the larger items, but they also brought boxes glassware items, tea cups, vases, old camera equipment...fun stuff for you to come browse through :^)

A midcentury dresser and mirror made by RWAY:
(What is it about cubbyholes? I love them! This stack of 3 small cubby-like drawers in the middle of the dresser is such a nice touch.)

Next, here's a beech (or birch? I need to learn more woods) dining room cabinet made by American of Martinsville for their “Urban Suburban” furniture designed by Merton L. Gershun. One source says this is from 1956. Um, that would be mid-century!
